Tasks
Carry out inspections in accordance with the requirements of the authority that issued the certification for the technique used (ONGC, ASNT, CINDE, NACE, API, CWB etc.), take notes, take photos, mark the areas to be inspected (drawings, measurements).
When present, communicate instructions and guide the NDT Technician Assistant
Remain attentive to customer instructions
Record in writing and numerically any anomalies found in the parts to be inspected
Write reports
Answer customer questions
Basic maintenance of inspection equipment
Manage specialized instrumentation
Apply correct inspection procedures according to context
Drive a vehicle to inspection sites (sometimes over long distances)
Transport inspection equipment in the field
Report anomalies, failures, problems, and difficulties

Participate in safety meetings and any prevention activities required by Torngats or the customer where the inspection is carried out
